Filled to the brim with features
As the successor to the LG Viewty, the KC910 has big shoes to fill. Thankfully there isn't a feature that hasn't been improved upon. This is still a great all-in-one multimedia phone that includes a hefty 8-Megapixel camera. Realistically there aren't many other phones that can stand up tot eh picture-taking power of this phone and thus lends the KC910 even more of an intimidating aura. If you worried that because of the power this phone contains that it might become cumbersome, then rest assured that at 14mm thick this is one of the slimmest 8 Megapixel phones on the market.
Let's delve into the features a little bit more to fully understand what this phone is capable of. Focusing on the multimedia aspect of this phone, there is a lot to love. The Dolby certified sound system ensures that all the sound files and movies you watch feature great audio quality and retain the impact that the artists' work. In an attempt to preserve the format of the movie files, the KC910 supports Divx and Xvid formats.
Back to the included camera, it features a Xenon flash for taking pictures in the dark and illuminating them in brilliant light. The Schneider-Kreuznach lens takes pictures while retaining the detail of their color. The ISO feature can be turned up to 1600 and can capture video in VGA resolution at a super fast 30fps.
There is a built-in GPS system for navigating through areas that you don't have a map for, or if you desire turn-by-turn directions without having to worry every step of the way. This Quad-Band GSM phone has support for HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-fi, and a MicroSDs lot for using 8 Gigabyte memory sticks. The 3-inch touch screen will enable you to get to all these wonderful features in a snap. Finally there is a tv output for watching the movies that are on your phone on a television.
As successor to the multi-million selling Viewty, the Renoir measures just 13.95 mm thin. The 3.0-inch WQVGA full-touch LCD screen has a customizable interface, with numerous widgets and shortcuts.
The Renoir leads the industry with its 8.0-megapixel camera, which is being developed to include Schneider-Kreuznach. It has a xenon flash, ISO sensitivity up to 1600, image stabilization, auto-focus, manual focus, Face Tracking, Smile Shot and blink detection. A GPS receiver geotags photos.
The Renoir includes Dolby Mobile for clean, powerful bass during music listening. It can record video from 5 up to 120 frames per second for fast and slow motion. It also plays DivX and Xvid movies straight out of the box, without the need for additional encoding.
It has Wi-Fi access or 3G HSDPA connections up to 7.2Mbps. It also includes a Jogging Buddy program that uses GPS technology to help track workouts.
