The LG KM555 is a mobile phone that support both GSM and UMTS network bandwidth and provides users with up to 7.2 Mbit/second data transfer rate. This 3G service gives users access to the internet without the need for WiFi hotspots (which is also available on the phone). The LG KM555 also features connectivity via stereo Bluetooth 2.1 for synchronization with a stereo headphone for listening to music on its media player or its FM radio, as well as microUSB that lets users synchronize the phone to update their phone book, upgrade software and download songs and images. The KM555 also features a 3 megapixel camera that lets users capture images and videos to share with friends and family while on the go.

The LG KM555 is a GSM Quad-band phone capable of global roaming (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) that is also compatible with UMTS dual-band European/Asian 3G (2100/900 MHz) network bandwidth. The phone supports EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA 7.2 Mbit/s data rate transfer in its 4.13 x 2.07 x 0.47 inches (104.9 x 52.6 x 11.9 mm)/3.17 oz (90 g) form factor that is powered by a lithium ion battery. The LG KM555 features a 3 inch 240 x 400 pixels (262 144 colors) TFT touch screen display, a 3 megapixels resolution camera, video playback (support for MPEG4, 3GP format), a music player (support for MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, RA, M4A (Apple lossless), AMR, MIDI) and an FM Radio.
